Thanks to a 13-10 win and the completion of a sweep of the Nationals last night, the Mets now enjoy a 3.5 game lead in the NL East.  Carlos Delgado once again came up big with a sac fly in the seventh, wait… a sac fly?  It didn’t go over the fence?….. Let this old bastard go.

The Yankees lost yet another big game last night, falling to the Angels 4-2 and clinching the AL West for the Halos.  Lucky for the Yanks, their upcoming 3 game home stand gives them the opportunity to get back within 8 games of the division leading Rays and at least make things… respectable.
