The “Redeem Team” lived up to their namesake, going the distance with a win over Spain this weekend.  Team members dedicated their win to Doug Collins, a commentator, and member of the 1972 US team that was cheated out of the gold, and never accepted their silver medals.  The Redeem Team however, had no problem accepting their gold medals… just another glaring example of today’s money hungry athletes.
